Program Manager

Yeesha Shriyan is working as a Program Manager with the Strategic Public Finance team. Prior to joining CEGIS, she was a Senior Resident Fellow with the Maharashtra team of the Vidhi Centre for Legal Policy, where she worked with various departments of the Maharashtra State Government to bring about legal and policy reforms in housing, transport, and ports. She has also undertaken legal research projects on tax, including taxation of cryptocurrencies, tax carve-outs under bilateral investment protection agreements. Prior to her time at Vidhi, she handled Central Excise matters at Lakshmikumaran & Sridharan Attorneys and offered GST consultancy services to players in the real estate sector in her stint with Economic Laws Practice. 

Yeesha qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2016. She also holds a law degree from K. C. Law College, Mumbai, and a Bachelor of Commerce degree from Narsee Monjee College of Commerce and Economics.

Outside of work, Yeesha enjoys watching anime, cooking, baking and going on picnics with her dogs. She is also keenly interested in handlooms, local handicrafts, and regional food.
