Sireesha Perabathina has joined as State Lead, Telangana. Sireesha is a public health specialist with over 20+ years of experience across India, Southasia.
Southeast Asia, Africa, Latin America, North America, and Europe. Her work has focused on strengthening health systems, healthcare financing, digital health, primary healthcare, HIV/AIDS, and strategic partnerships to improve healthcare access and affordability.
Prior to joining CEGIS, she worked with Palladium Group as a Senior Program Manager, where she supported USAID-funded initiatives on HIV/AIDS service delivery and conducted research on private health insurance access for People Living with HIV (PLHIV) in India. She has also served as Associate Director and Senior Consultant at ACCESS Health International, leading global and regional initiatives on universal health coverage, fintech and health-tech innovation, healthcare financing, and cross-country learning exchanges. Her earlier experience includes work with the Massachusetts Department of Public Health, Stanford Technology Partners, and grassroots organizations focused on maternal and child health, gender, and community health systems.
Sireesha holds a Master of Public Health from Boston University School of Public Health, a Post Graduate Diploma in Health & Hospital Management from IIHMR Jaipur, and has completed international research training programs with the University of Oslo and Karolinska Institutet. She has also received the Ford Foundation International Fellowship in recognition of her leadership and commitment to social change in healthcare.
Her areas of interest include health systems strengthening, primary healthcare, healthcare financing, digital health, policy and implementation research, social impact strategy, and building collaborative partnerships to improve public health outcomes.
