Shubham is working as a Senior Program Associate with the Outcome Measurement vertical in the UP team at CEGIS.

Previously, he was working as a Research Associate at the Watershed Organisation Trust (WOTR) in Pune. At WOTR, he was primarily involved in the designing the questionnaire for field surveys, data cleaning, data analysis and report writing. In addition to this, he prepared various baseline and endline reports, developed research papers and case studies including case study for the ELD initiative of UNCCD on behalf of WOTR. During his PhD he has been part of various projects including Impact Evaluation of Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana (PMKVY) sponsored by the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR) and Global Development Network (GDN) among others.

Shubham is pursuing his PhD from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Roorkee (towards submission). He holds an M.A. in Economics from the Banaras Hindu University (BHU) and B.Sc in Economics from University of Calcutta. He likes to engage in rigorous data analysis with the aim to generate meaningful outcomes. He is well versed with Statistical tools such as STATA, R and Tableau.
