
Divya Chopra
Divya Chopra is a Senior Program Manager in the MEL team.
Divya brings with her over a decade of diverse experience in the development sector. Prior to joining CEGIS, Divya was working with Ashoka University’s Centre for Social Impact and Philanthropy as a Senior Research Manager, wherein she led various research studies aimed at understanding the philanthropic landscape in the country. She authored multiple reports and opinion pieces related to individual and household philanthropy trends in India.
Divya has also worked with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) in the policy research and advocacy space.
In this role, Divya gave critical inputs towards the Defence Production Policy and the Defence Procurement Policy. Divya was also a part of Kantar Public’s Social and Rural Research Institute, during which she led various evaluation studies for development partners such as the Gates Foundation, FHI360, Ministry of Urban Development, World Bank and Clinton Health Access Initiatives.
Divya holds a Master's degree in Development Studies from Ambedkar University and a Bachelor's in Economics from the University of Delhi.
Outside of work, Divya loves to travel and play Table Tennis
