Product Manager
Position Summary
The Product manager will work on product development on multiple projects across the life cycle
(problem identification, field surveys and interviews, department level diagnostics, solution
identification, pilot development, pilot implementation and scale up support). Typically these
projects will involve frontline service delivery departments (e.g. local governance, nutrition,
education etc.). The manager will report to the respective Project Lead(s) and significantly
contribute to analytical aspects of the project.
Role and Responsibilities
Product Development

Develop end to end understanding of various aspects of the project.

Field surveys and interviews with multiple stakeholders for problem identification and solution mapping

Drafting product outline and building product features
Stakeholder Management and Implementation

Work with various technology vendors for implementation and rollout

Coordination with state department at various levels for implementation of product
-
Analysis of data and improving processes and product features for product adoption

Documentation

Document all aspects of the project (Ideation, product development,product reception)

Paperwork for approvals from department and building case studies for products

Required Qualifications, Skills and Abilities
Education and Experience
-
Any bachelor’s degree from a reputed institution (Computer science, IT will be a bonus)

2 to 4 years work experience in product development, consulting, or software development with experience in an entire product development lifecycle.

Knowledge of javascript and any programming languages will be a bonus

Report writing and documentation

Proficiency in English and Telugu

Fluency in English and excellent writing and communication skills (ability to communicate complex ideas in a meaningful way and across different audiences)

Location and Compensation
This role is based out of Hyderabad. Remuneration will be competitive with Indian philanthropy and social sector pay scales and will depend on the candidate’s experience levels
