CEGIS partners with the state of Tamil Nadu
In May 2022, CEGIS signed a five-year MoU with the Government of Tamil Nadu under which CEGIS would provide analytical, technical, and implementation support to different Departments including School Education. During this engagement, CEGIS plans to work closely with departments including Social Welfare, Commercial Tax, Revenue, Municipal Administration, and Finance, among others. Currently, our teams are embedded in the Finance and School Education Departments, and supporting Government initiatives through a portfolio of projects related to improving administrative data quality of primary education, job readiness of trainees, value for money in public procurement, and the cost-effectiveness of select state corporations.

CEGIS partners with the Bodoland Territorial Council
CEGIS signed a five-year MoU with the Bodoland Territorial Council in December 2021, making it the third overall partner and first council-level government partnership as well as the first North-East regional engagement. This partnership is driven by the larger objective to improve outcomes across sectors impacting the overall state capacity, and the engagement has commenced with the specific goal of Early Childhood Development. For this, CEGIS is embedded with the state government through an office integrated with the Secretariat and the Social Welfare Department at Bodoland.

CEGIS partners with the Government of Telangana
CEGIS signed a five year MoU with the Government of Telangana in October 2019 to improve outcomes and the quality of expenditure of the state. As part of this agreement, CEGIS is now embedded with the state government through a dedicated, co-created office integrated with the state’s Finance and Planning Departments and staffed by both CEGIS personnel and seconded government personnel. Through this office, CEGIS is working on projects with seven different departments within the state government.

CEGIS partners with the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi
CEGIS signed a five year MoU with the Government of National Capital Territory of Delhi in November 2020, making it our second state partner. While the larger objective remains to improve outcomes across sectors, the engagement has commenced with the specific goal of augmenting revenues of the state using a data-driven approach to identify and curb tax evasion. As part of this agreement, CEGIS is now embedded with the state government through a dedicated, office integrated with the state’s GST (Finance) and Planning Departments and is working on projects with all revenue-raising departments within the state government.

CEGIS partners with the state of Karnataka
The Government of Karnataka signed a five-year Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with CEGIS on 15 November 2022 in the presence of he state Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai. CEGIS is providing technical, analytical, and programmatic support o the state in areas such as enhancement of state revenue including competency mapping and training of frontline tax officials, designing a strategy for improving 'Administrative Data Quality' and data use for Education, Health, and Women and Child Development Departments.
